Aquam Finds $26M For Utility Infrastructure Technology, Services

San Diego-based Aquam Corporation, which provides technology for addressing deteriorating pipes used in water and other utility infrastructure, has raised $26M in a private equity funding, the company said this morning. The funding came from NewWorld Capital Group, and also included an un-nnamed, Credit Suisse advised fund. According to Aquam, the new funding goes towards further product development and geographic expansion of its businesses. Aquam runs two businesses, including Nu Flow Technologies, a provider of small diameter infrastructure lining technology; Specialized Pipe Technologies, a pipe lining installer; Aquam Water Services, a UK-based company offering up water usage data to utilities; and Aquam Pipe Diagnostics (JD7) a provider of pipeline assessment services.
