    ARCHOS Intros Mobile DVR


    Irvine-based ARCHOS said this morning that it has introduced a new, portable digital video recorder (DVR). The company's new AV700 Mobile Digital Video Recorder provides a 100-gigabyte hard drive and a wide screen in a portal DVD player-sized package. The new device supports up to 400 hours of video and will be available in June. The DVR allows for scheduling of video recording, supports a 7" LCD wide screen display, MPEG-4 and MP3 support, and connects to a video docking station for easily conecting to a video source.
