    Aristos Ships RAID Proecssor
    Foothill Ranch-based Aristos Logic has announced its second generation single-chip RAID solution. The company's new AL3400 UltraSlice RAID chip provides 4G Fibre Channel support and is targeted at providing low cost RAID functionality in storage arrays. According to the company, the new product integrates 4G Fibre Channel host and disk interfaces and PCI-X connectivity. Aristos is targeting entry-level and mid-range external storage with the chip.
