aTyr Pharma Closes IPO

San Diego-based aTyr Pharma said Tuesday afternoon that it has closed its initial public offering. the company sold 6,164,000 shraes of its common stock at $14.00 per share, raising $86.25M for the company. The company is now trading on the NASDAQ Global Market as LIFE. aTyr's venture backers include Fidelity Investments, Domain Associate, Polaris Partners, Alta Partners, Cardinal Partners, and Sofinnova Ventures.
