Irvine-based Autobytel announced this week that Michael Schmidt has been appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Schmidt has been at Autobytel since April 2004 as SVP Finance. Schmidt previously served as CFO of Autoweb.com, and also served at Telephia and IMS Health.
