    Autobytel Makes $48.3M Acquisition of Automotive Site


    Irvine-based Autobytel (www.autobytel.com) announced the acquisition of Stoneage Corporation, owner of the Car.com website. The $48.3M acquisition was in cash and stock, and expands Autobytel's automotive buying services, retail and enterprise dealer relationships, and advertising network.
