Autonomy Extends EV Subscriptions To Inland Empire

Santa Monica-based EV subscription vehicle company Autonomy--led by online automotive pioneer Scott Painter--says it is extending its services to California's Inland Empire. According to Autonomy, users in the Inland Empire can now get access to Tesla Model 3 vehicles on its subscription plan. Autonomy has already been providing service along California's Central Coast, Sacramento, San Diego, Orange County, and the Bay Area. Autonomy's subscriptions area available as low as $490 per month with a $4,900 "start fee", or $1,000 a month for a $1000 "start fee". The company's service--run through an app--makes it easier to secure a vehicle than a traditional loan or lease. Painter and his co-founder, Georg Bauer, were the founders of used-vehicle subscription service Fair; Painter also has a long history of starting automotive related online businesses, including CarsDirect and TrueCar.
