    Autos.com Expands Consumer Ranking Content

Los Angeles-based CarsDirect.com said today that its Autos.com site is now offering consumer rankings and used vehicle rankings. The Autos.com site will now offer ratings of used vehicles back to the 1992 model year, including safety and resale value. The site also will offer user input and reviews on different models of vehicles, and allow people to enter their own rankings. Autos.com is CarsDirect's newest entry into the online car buying space, and goes up against auto information services like Edmunds.com. The Autos.com site ties into CarsDirect's ability to receive quotes from dealers on automobiles.
