AVST Raises $10M
Foothill Ranch-based Applied Voice & Speech Technologies has raised a Series B funding of $10M. funding came from Ignition partners, with participation from Dolphin Equity Partners. AVST develops and markets a speech applications platform for enterprises, which provides advanced voice messaging, unified messaging, speech-enabled auto attendant features, and more. The company said that the funding would be used to accelerate the development and distribution of its solutions to market. The company said that its solutions are already distributed worldwide by Ericsson under the OneBox brand, and also has distribution partners including Verizon and Altura.
