AWR Closes Series C Funding

El Segundo-based Applied Wave Research has disclosed a Series C venture capital funding of $6.4M. AWR riased the round from existing investors Synopsys and CMEA Ventures. New investors in this round included Intel Capital, Dow Pension Funds, and the Southern Ute Growth Fund. Applied Wave Research (AWR) is a provider of electronic design automation (EDA) tools for the high frequency, RF circuit design space.
