BidShift Gets Win In North Carolina

San Diego-based BidShift, a provider of online software used for healthcare staffing, has signed on North Carolina's Thomasville Medical Center as a customer. BidShift said that the hospital will offer its services to allow its employees to bid for open nursing shifts. Shift management and scheduling of nurses and others in the health care industry is a major problem of healthcare providers. Bidshift's web-based software allows a hospital's staff to make their own schedules, for the hospital to offer incentives to fill difficult shifts, and for managing contractors.
