BidShift Signs Philadelphia Health Provider
San Diego-based BidShift, a provider of web-based workforce management systems, has signed on Albert Einstein Healthcare Network, a Philadelphia-based provider of healthcare services. BidShift said that Albert Einstein will use its services at its Medical Center and a number of other health care facilities that it operates in the Philadephia area. BidShift's workforce management system will be used to schedule nursing and nursing support personnel. The firm's system uses a bid-based system to fill open shifts and schedule personnel, a traditionally very labor-intensive and difficult task for hospitals and other healthcare facilities. Bidshift is supported by Aperture Venture Partners, Carrot Capital, and Himalaya Capital.
