BioNano Genomics Finds $10M For Human Genome Analysis

San Diego-based BioNano Genomics announced this morning that it has raised $10M in a funding round, to commercialize its system for human genome analysis. The funding came from Batelle Ventures, Domain Associates, and Gund Investment Corporation. BioNano Genomics says it is developing a system which uses imaging of molecules to directly observe native genomic structure. The startup is led by Erik Holmlin, Ph.D. More information »
