    Bluebeam, Autodesk Add File Sharing

Pasadena-based Bluebeam and CAD giant Autodesk said yesterday that the two companies have inked a deal to provide file sharing features for AutoCAD design software. The two companies will work together to develop solutions enable conversion of compicated, large-format AutoCAD drawings into a portable, lightweight digital file. Bluebeam will be enhancing its current Pushbutton Plus solution to support the Autodesk DWF (Design Web Format) file standard. Bluebeam's software currently creates PDF and other format files. The companies also said that they will create specialized tools to do large scale conversions of digital drawings to the DWF format.
