Boingo Adds Nokia Smartphone Support
Los Angeles-based Boingo Wireless said Wednesday that the firm has added support for a number of Nokia mobile devices. The expansion of the service will allow users of Nokia handsets and other Internet devices with access to Boingo's network of Wi-Fi hotspots. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed. Boingo said that the new Nokia devices supported by its network include S60-based smartphones and Linux-based Internet Tablets; the support will come as part of a download from Boingo's web site. Boingo Wireless operates a network of Wi-Fi carriers, and has software which automatically connects and routes billing through Boingo for the access.
