Boingo Inks Deal With Tatara Systems
Santa Monica-based Boingo Wireless has inked a deal with Massachusetts-based Tatara Systems to integrate Boingo's wireless services into Tatara's 3G mobile services. Tatara said taht it will integrate Boingo's software development kit into its Mobile Services COnvergence Platform, enabling products based on Tatara's services to tap into the Boingo Wi-Fi network. The companies said that Boingo's network reaches over 22,000 Wi-Fi hot spots globally. Tatara provides Wi-Fi services to Vodafone, British Telecome, Telus Mobility, VeriSign, and JiWire. Tatara provides mobile services across different devices and different kinds of networks for service providers.
