Boingo Names Three New Directors In Deal With Activist Investors

Los Angeles-based Boingo Wireless announced this morning that it is appointed three new directors to its board, after reaching a deal with activist investors Ides Capital Management and Legion Partners Asset Management. According to Boingo, it is appointing three, new indepdnent directors--Maury Austin, David Cutrer and Kathleen Misunas--to its board, in an agreement which also has Ides Capital Management withdrawing all of its director nominees. The deal expands Boingo's board to nine directors. Boingo has been in a proxy fight with the investors over the direction of the company.
