Boingo Partners With Gogo
Los Angeles-based Boingo Wireless, the provider of a network of Wi-Fi access points, and in-flight wireless provider Gogo said today that they are in a partnership. The two said that Boingo customers can now log into Gogo using their existing Boingo account. Boingo Wireless offers up a unified billing and access service to a network of Wi-Fi access point providers; however, the new, inflight service is not included in regular monthly plans. Boingo said laptop and tablet users will be charged $4.95, $9.95 or $12.95 per flight based on the length of the flight, with smart phone users paying $4.95 or $7.95 depending on flight duration.
