Los Angeles-based wireless and cellular infrastructure provider Boingo Wireless said today that it has scored another wireless venue win, this time with the University of Houston. Boingo said it has been selected as the exclusive wireless network partner for the new Houston Football Stadium. Financial impact of the win was not announced. Boingo said it will install, manage, and operate its distributed antenna system at the new stadium, providing cellular and data coverage at the venue. The deal also includes in-stadium Wi-Fi for both operations and fans. Boingo said the system will be operational by August 29th, 2014, when the first game of the college football season launches.
