Boingo Wireless Adds Bangkok Airport

Los Angeles-based Boingo Wireless, which operates a global network of Wi-Fi hotspots, said Wednesday that it has launched a managed, Wi-Fi service at Bangkok's new Suvarnabhumi International Airport (BKK). The firm said the coverage comes via an agreement with WLANnet. Boingo said it will manage authentication, sales, and traffic at the location, with WLAnet handling the infrastructure. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. Boingo said it will also offer up access at the airport to roaming partners and platform service partners, who will pay the firm wholesale rates to access its network.
