Borrego Wins Utility Scale Solar Deal In Michigan

San Diego-based Borrego, a developer of utility-scale, renewable energy projects, reported this week that it has been selected to build three new, utility-scale solar projects in Michigan. According to Borrego, it was selected by AES Corporation to engineer and construct the three power plants in Michigan. Financial impact of the win was not announced. The company said the three plants will add 72 MW of clean energy to Michigan's power grid. The projects will be located in Cement City, Pullman and Letts Creek and are expected to be online in mid-2022.
