Broadcom Expands Wireless IC Portfolio
Irvine-based Broadcom said today that it has rolled out new silicon for the Bluetooth market. Broadcom announced two new single-chip products targeted at the wireless handset market. The new chips are targeted at high-end basic Bluetooth handsets, and feature proprietary voice enhancement and sound technology to reduce noise.
