    Broadcom Loses Exec


    Irvine-based Broadcom has lost its CTO of Networking to Nortel. Nortel announced yesterday that John J. Roese has joined the company as its Chief Technology Officer, heading up the company's R&D strategy and research. Roese was Vice President and CTO of Networking Technologies at Broadcom, and had previously served as EVP and CTO at Enterasys, and CTO at Cabletron.
