    Broadcom Signs Bell Micro, Intros GigE Chips


    Irvine-based Broadcom (www.broadcom.com) announced that it has signed on Bell Microproducts as a distributor of its RAIDCore serial ATA controllers. Bell will represent the company internationally. Separately, the company announced its new NetLink family of Gigabit Ethernet controllers, focused on small to medium sized businesses.
