Business.com Opens Work.com How To Guides
Santa Monica-based Business.com, a provider of business focused search engine and directory services, launched a new How To site today called Work.com. The firm, which bills the site as a "Web 2.0" community platform, said that the site is designed to help small business owners run their businesses. The new site provides "how-to" advice written by business experts, and also allows for users to create their own business guides and content. The content generated by users can be commented on and rated by others. Business.com said that its new site combines the best elements of wikis, blogs and collaborative directories. Business.com is backed by eCompanies, Benchmark, Institutional Venture Partners, Evercore Partners, Reed Business Information, and McGraw Hill.
