Aliso Viejo-based e-commerce retailer Buy.com is reporting today that it has what it is calling its "biggest Black Friday" in its company's history. The firm did not reveal the amount of sales that day, but said that Friday surpassed its prior record, set last year. Buy.com said that the Black Friday results were bolstered by its third party, Buy.com Marketplace, which accounted for more than 30 percent of the site's orders. Buy.com's marketplace allows third party sellers to list items which show up in Buy.com's product searches. The site reported the marketplace section saw 120 percent more orders on Black Friday compared with last year.
