Buy.com Launches Social Networking Sales Service

Aliso Viejo-based Buy.com said today that it has launched a new service, Garage Sale, which allows consumers to sell goods from their business and social networking pages. The new service is rolling out on Facebook, and Buy.com said it will also offer the service on other social networking web sites. According to Buy.com, it will allow users to upload product information and photos, and begin selling products on their personal profile pages. Buy.com is an online retailer of consumer electronics and other products.
