    CADFORCE Raises $1.7M


    Los Angeles-based CADFORCE, a provider of outsourced CAD drafting services, has received a round of venture funding from Rincon Venture Partners and the Tech Coast Angels. Rincon, a Santa Barbara-based venture capital firm, led the round. Jim Andelman of Rincon will join the firm's board, along with Doulgas Webster, VP Mergers and acquisitions at MCI. CADFORCE provides drafting, production of construction documents, and photo-realistic renderings for CAD customers using an offshore labor pool based in Calcutta, India. The firm said it will use the funding for growing its domestic and offshore operations.
