| Social Innovation Challenge 2016. The Social Innovation Challenge (SIC), promotes, guides, and supports student-driven ideas to launch or contribute to social enterprises. In 2015 the Social Innovation Challenge awarded $41,000 to USD students, and $35,000 to the expanded "San Diego Track" (students from all universities within the San Diego region). Preliminary deadlines: Round One - February 15, 2016; Round Two - March 28, 2016; Round Three Final Pitch - April 26, 2016; Award Ceremony - April 29, 2016.
