| High School Robotics Teams from Ventura County FIRST is the largest national robotics competitions of its kind at the high school level. Students have only six weeks to design, build, program, and test a robot to perform against a field of competitors. The game, the rules and the robot specifications are different every year. This year, the game was Recycle Rush. Recycle Rush is a recycling-themed game played by two alliances of three robots each. During the 2.5 minute match, robots score points by stacking totes on scoring platforms, capping those stacks with recycling containers, and properly disposing of pool noodles, representing litter.
