| "European VAT Seminar" HIGH STREET PARTNERS and SEEDA present an interactive EUROPEAN VAT SEMINAR. Roger Bevan of High Street Partners presents an overview of international VAT matters, focusing on 'case studies' and client participation. The seminar is excellent for learning more about VAT matters that US Companies face when expanding into the UK and other countries. With more than 30 years of experience, Roger's career began working as an Inspector with HM Customs & Excise for 10 years as a specialist fraud investigator. After a short spell with Coopers & Lybrand, Roger joined Arthur Andersen in 1988. He became a partner in 1992 and recruited and managed a team of 35 professionals dedicated to VAT and customs matters, mainly dealing with US businesses developing operations in Europe. In 1997, he joined Ernst & Young and again built and managed a team of 35 professionals all dedicated to VAT matters. Our Wednesday morning breakfast meeting with be participatory in nature.
