Hacking Prevention— IPv6 and Secure Coding Practices
Date: October 28, 2008
Location: San Diego
CommNexus presents Hacking Prevention— IPv6 and Secure Coding Practices . Large and small companies need to implement secure practices with their networks. If you are unsure about what your company is doing to prevent hacking, or have questions about what you can do differently, bring your questions to the Security SIG. Mr. Jay McGuerty with SAIC will demonstrate some of the vulnerabilities inherent in the current RFCs for IPv6, and Javier Godinez will review the most common coding errors seen at SAIC. Godinez will also demonstrate how simple mistakes can create vulnerabilities in applications and will discuss how you can use security fundamentals to develop secure code.
