OCTANe is pleased to announce that the Assembly and Senate Select Committees on Biotechnology has rescheduled a joint hearing for Friday, January 8, 2010, 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Edwards Lifesciences in Irvine. Tentative agenda items include: an overview of the medical device industry in California, the importance of technology transfer between academic institutions and the industry, the interplay of public policy with the medical device sector, and highlights of medical device entrepreneurship and startups in the state.
