Adding Human-Centered Design to Software Requirements Engineering. SPIN. In earlier SPIN presentations, the speaker covered several topics in software requirements, in particular use cases and examples of their use and misuse. Since then he has become interested and active in integrating Human-Centered Interaction (HCI) and design methods into early phases of software development. In this talk, after a review of requirements engineering with use cases, he will present HCI methods, including elements of usability engineering and User-Centered Design (UCD), cognitive walkthroughs, GOMS analysis, interaction design, swim lanes and activity diagrams.
