| LA AppShow. The LA AppShow brings together app developers to demo their newsworthy new apps and unrecognized app gems to a live audience with an exciting social backdrop. The events are also streamed live on the web via Ustream.tv (and archives are available to view online). Past presenters have been featured in the New York Times, BBC, network television and the iTunes App Store home page after appearing in the LA AppShow! Typically the events are watched by developers, entrepreneurs and investors. Angry Birds may be the first brand originally created for an app that has now transcended the app economy to become a true global brand. We are delighted to have Matt McMahon and Jessica Trinca, from Fox Digital Entertainment's Mobile team, at the LA AppShow to discuss the successful partnership between 20th Century Fox and Rovio on "Angry Birds Rio", a stand-alone game intended to grow the Angry Birds franchise and to promote the new Fox feature film, RIO, opening April 15 in theatres everywhere.
