Cost of energy used by the ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach approach $50M annually and are expected to grow significantly as California's energy production mix evolves. We've invited senior port engineers Ben Chavdarian (Long Beach) and Vahik Haddadian (Los Angeles) to provide insights to the ways Ports will deal with opportunities and challenges related to energy consumption, conservation and costs.
