| The 8th Annual Imperial Valley Renewable Energy Summit will focus on the ever changing and expanding opportunities for development in the region where the full spectrum of renewable energy production continues to thrive. Imperial Valley currently exports over 500 megawatts of renewable energy to surrounding communities. With the addition of new renewable energy projects that are under development and upon completion would produce up to 2,500 MW of renewable energy. Imperial Valley is poised to be a major contributor in helping California achieve its renewable energy portfolio standards of 33% renewable energy by 2020.
