| PortTech Forum looks at the impact to local business owners and operators due to the newStormwater Runoff Rules that go into effect on July 1. The revised regulations are broader in scope and introduce new compliance requirements needed to reduce the flow of contaminated waters into sewers, flood control channels and ultimately the ocean. The Forum will examine the goals of the rules generally and how they apply specifically to the businesses in and around the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach.
