Reversing Global Warming through Ocean Forests of Kelp & Algae
Date: August 12, 2015
Location: Thousand Oaks
Reversing Global Warming through Ocean Forests of Kelp & Algae. Clean Technology Council. Jim Stewart, PhD, VP at PODenergy presents how his technology uses natural biological processes to produce renewable energy, improve ocean health, reduce global warming, and feed the world’s people. PODenergy’s ocean seaweed system grows natural forests of kelp and macroalgae. The forest produces enough biomethane to eventually replace 1000f the world’s fossil fuel use. The process also sequesters carbon dioxide to reverse global warming, recycles nutrients to sustain the seaweed, increases seafood harvest, and improves species biodiversity.
