The event will feature presentations on nanoscale electronics by Dr. Marc Bockrath of Caltech and Dr. Hans Coufal, Manager of Science and Technology at IBM’s Almaden Lab. Dr. Bockrath will present on electronics and mechanics of systems on the nanometer scale. Dr. Coufal will present on IBM’s breakthroughs in the study of nanoscale technologies. IBM's nanotechnology research aims to devise new atomic- and molecular-scale structures and devices for enhancing information technologies, as well as discover and understand their scientific foundations.
