It is possible now to restore sight to patients blinded from outer retinal degenerations such as retinitis pigmentosa and macular degeneration. Scott Dumbar, Executive at 2nd Sight, will introduce the audience to the device that artificially stimulates the retina and will show the results experienced by implanted patients.
