SPACE 2007. On the eve of NASA's 50th Anniversary, space still represents a frontier left remarkably undiscovered. We have come to depend on space systems for communicating with many parts of the world, for monitoring weather, for airplane navigation, for protecting the earth’s resources and to alert us of terrorist activities. Yet, we have barely scratched the surface. Why? This is the question we intend for the AIAA SPACE 2007 Conference & Exposition to address - to focus on the next fifty years of space and further refine the vision NASA has started to implement.
