Chinese Industries in Transition. IEEE. Through unprecedented entrepreneurship, generous government incentives, and abundant low cost labor, China has become the factory of the world. There are few industries, if any, that have not been impacted by this massive movement. During the past 20 years, consumers in the United States have enjoyed falling prices for goods made in China, which in turn has helped to curb our inflation. But this big China sale is about to end. This presentation provides the speaker’s personal observation and insight on the challenges that Chinese companies must face in making such paradigm shift. Speaker: Martin Shum.
