    CallWave Blocks Telemarketers

Santa Barbara-based CallWave announced that the company has added the addition of automatic blocking of unwanted telemarketing calls to its existing subscribers. The company, which provides Voice-over-IP services aimed at home and small office users, will provide the capability to all of its existing 800,000 subscribers at no cost. CallWave said that the new feature is based on its SS7 softswitch technology, which powers the company's services. Callwave provides virtual FAX and voice messaging services and online message screening and routing services via the Internet.
