CallWave Launches Marketing Initiative
Santa Barbara-based CallWave said this morning that it is launching a new distribution strategy for its Voice over IP (VoIP) services. CallWave said that it will begin bundling its services with prepaid cell phones, co-market its services with mobile phone operators, and private label and co-brand its VoIP features with mobile network operators. The company said that it is looking to penetrate the U.S. mobile phone market with its mobile call screening and mobile call transfer services. CallWave's Mobile Call Screening and Mobile Call Transfer services allow for the forwarding of cell phone calls to a home or office line, and includes the ability for cell phone users to screen voice messages in real time and choose to take a call if they want to talk to the caller.
