Cerritos-based Calnetix, a manufacturer of high efficiency electric motors and generators, said Friday that it has acquired Elliott Energy Systems, a manufacturer of microturbines located in Stuart, Florida. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The firms both develop products used in power generation.
