    Captiva Releases Mail Classification System


    San Diego-based Captiva Software (www.captivasoftware.com) announced the general availability of the company's Digital Mailroom software. The company's software automatically classifies and routes digitized images of inbound mail and electronic communications, including mail, faxes, and e-mail. The system automatically routes digital images of documents to departments or individuals. The company's products are used to help process and convert forms, documents, and transactions into electronic information.
