Celerus Gets $9M
Santa Barbara-based Celerus Diagnostics said today that it has received $9M in a Series B funding, led by Merriman, Curhan and Ford, the investment bank. Celerus is developing medical devices for rapid cancer diagnostics. The new round of funding brings the company's total raised to around $11.7M, including a previous round that the company announced in December of 2005. The firm is targeting pathology laboratories with its technology.
