    Celladon Raises $30M


    La Jolla-based Celladon has raised a $30M round of Series B funding. The company said that it will use the funding to complete testing and advance its product for heart failure. Funding came from Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and Domain Associates, with participation from existing investors Enterprise Partners Venture Capital and Venrock Associates. Celladon is developing treatments for heart failure and other cardiovascular diseases. Dr. Jesse Treu of Domain and Joseph Lacob of Kleiner have joined the company's board.
