Central Desktop Adds Engineering VP

Pasadena-based Central Desktop, the provider of cloud-based collaboration software, is growing out its executive ranks again today, saying it has hired Dhruba Kalita as its new Vice President of Engineering. Kalita was most recenlty Founder and Chief Technology Officer at Foodlink, and also served at NetInfo and Xerox. The executive appointment is the second this month; the company appointed Mark Smialowicz as COO just last week. Central Desktop is headed by Isaac Garcia, and offers up a number of online tools used by companies to manage their projects and collaboration.
